Our land is made up of ambivalences, a host of nuances leading to the best and the worst. The installations of the Wandering Construction, the Abstract Constructions, the Herculéennes, the Aériennes and the Sky Portraits express the best part of it. The Poids du Monde expresses the worst. Everything that cannot be confessed and supported shape our planet. These facies of drama contain the heartbreak, misery and victims. These Poids du Monde carry the subtitles Rwanda, Afghanistan, Colombia, Iraq, Palestine, Darfur, Tibet, Venezuela, Paraguay, Haiti, Zaire… and many others that we do not know. This is how I take a stand and express my deep dismay about human bestiality, the misery of men.
